Diagnostic Imaging

(X-Ray / Ultrasound) The imaging department has its own x-ray unit, state-registered radiographer and specialist radiologist, with conventional radiology and ultrasonography facilities. Obstetric and gynaecological work is performed with graded facilities for doing transvaginal sonography. Thyroid gland, breast diseases, scrotal swellings, soft tissue tumours, neo-natal and abdominal scans etc can be studied in detail using the small parts probe.

Dr. Soufiane Ben Abdallah Zghidi MBBS, PhD

Radiologist

After qualifying MBBS, Dr Soufiane completed a Doctorate in Medicine (PhD) in 1997. The PhD with the sub specialty of Diagnostic Radiology in Neuroradiology by Diploma in Magnetic Resonance Imaging at the University of Strasbourg, Faculty of Medicine, Strasbourg, France.

Dr Soufiane has extensive experience in diagnostic ultrasound, doppler ultrasound, mammography, barium studies and also general radiology. This experience was obtained in several large radiology units in France, including the Strasbourg Institute of Radiology and Haut Piere Hospital, Strasbourg. He has published 10 radiological studies. After receiving consultant radiologist status from the Ministry of Health, UAE and also the Department of Health and Medical Services, Dubai Dr Soufiane worked in several leading hospitals and private clinics before joining the Dubai London Clinic as consultant radiologist. He has an ongoing interest in diagnostic ultrasound and doppler, and he also offers a general radiology service. Dr Soufiane is a designated radiologist for immigration radiology for the Australian, Canadian and New Zealand Embassies.

Dr Soufiane maintains a holistic approach to radiology and to his patients. He has participated in many international seminars and enjoys reading medical news, swimming and travel. He is married and has 3 children.
