Dr. Geoffrey Sharpe, BDS MFDS RCPS MSc MRD (Perio) RCSEd

Specialist in Periodontics

Dr. Sharpe specializes in all types of periodontal treatment including the management of advanced gum disease, cosmetic gum treatments and the placement of dental implants.

He graduated from Newcastle University in 1998 and has held a number of hospital posts in the UK as well as working in private practice. He completed his specialist training in periodontics at Newcastle University and also studied at Gothenburg University in Sweden.

Dr. Sharpe has several publications in the dental literature, including articles in the British Dental Journal and Dental Update. He has been awarded several prestigious prizes including the George Cross Fellowship and the Research Award from the British Society of Periodontology. He is an examiner for the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow and he is an active member of several dental societies including the American Academy of Periodontology, the Association of Dental Implantology, the British Dental Association and the British Society of Periodontology.

In his spare time, he likes to keep fit by running and playing squash. He also enjoys photography, travel and live music.
